Just a quick update to say I had a good time on Thursday when I went with Tat to NYC. I got to see Boot Black Jim and Daddy David, along with Tristen and some other really great people. It was a partly a book signing and I managed to give out a card to a Harper Collins editor in hopes he might want to be on Tale Chasing sometime. We’ll see.
I went with Daddy and Daddy David to see Flagg today which was fun. ๐ I admit to not going to see him as often as I probably should and it was nice to hang out with them all.
I haven’t really been practiciing my judo like I should, partly do to a cold I picked up. I’m going to try and do that so when Sensei gets back he doesn’t kick my ass. It also means I haven’t gotten out to the gym like I’ve wanted to either.
I’ve been so into the podcasting that I haven’t written much but I’m working on getting my butt in gear on that as well. Episode 3 of Tale Chasing is up and ready for download. I still have to create a musical intro for the show and edit the previous ones to include it but it’s going well I think. I’m hoping that I can continue to get interested listeners and then build up enough of an audience that people may want to be on the show or send in comments to help me make it better.
Speaking of podcasts, I hear PodCamp NYC is already looking to do another one. Maybe this time I’ll do a session and talk about what it’s like to be a brand new podcaster. LOL Who knows. So much ambition, so little actual work so far. ๐
