Ok…let’s try this for the fourth time. Each time I write this all out…it takes me too long and then Blogger signs out on me and I don’t bother to copy it incase I loose it. UG! So….one more time…
Things went well with today’s plans. We got Tat off to her appointment, Daddy off to his Client, and Tat her car back. I’d arranged my schedule so I’d be available to drive today. My Training session moved to Friday. While we were waiting to pick up daddy we stopped at Pet store near the office. It had the largest selection of fish I’ve seen around here. They must have had 50 tanks all with different type of fish in it. The most amusing part was the little tags at the bottom of the tanks that labled the fish: communal, simi-aggressive, aggressive…..carnivorous! EEk. We spent a little time with the guy that maintained that section talking about the fish and stuff. It was pretty cool. They didn’t have any dogs or cats but we did go look in the Reptile/Bird room. The snakes freaked me out a bit, and we both decided to book it when we found out they had a cinapeed with fangs! Again…EEk.
Daddy ended up having to stay at the clients longer then planned. Good news…it’s money. Bad news…it was a loss of time. (See below for why that’s important) Tat got her car and headed home. I took some time and did a major clean of the office then napped for about 30 mins until I had to pick up Daddy. It had been my intention to go to the Gym this evening after dinner but I ended up laying down and lost all my motivation to go. I feel pretty bad about that but I guess concidering it’s the first time in two weeks I haven’t worked out I guess I should give myself a break. There hasn’t been any weight loss yet and it’s annoying. I’ll find out about my blood test by next week and keep you all informed.

Good News!!! Yesterday, DotPublishing Inc (the small company Daddy runs and we are a part of for those who don’t know) was offered a 5 min spot at an Investor luncheon here in New Jersey on July 17th. There are only 3 spots at these luncheons and are only held once a month. We are aslo being given a table to show off our “product” and give out buisness cards to those investors who are interested as part of the package. Genereally these tables run about 100 bucks. The interesting thing to note is that generally about 50 to 60% of the 5 min presenters usually end up getting money within 30 to 60 days after their speach. So that is extremely good news for us. We really lucked out at getting the chance to do this. We wouldn’t probably have another opportunity to do this until the beginning of next year.
There is a bit of panic about getting ready. We’ve only got 6 days until we have to be prepared but I know we can do it. One of our Associates is going to help out with the Graphical and Print stuff. Daddy will be working on the speach and the handouts as well as a small slide show of his renders. Another one of our associates will hopefully be giving the speach. Daddy may end up in a Suit :grins: We will keep you updated on how it turns out. For those who are interested, Daddy’s blog usually has updates about the status of things like this.
