Today was long but it was a great day! I got up at 12pm, surprisingly enough concidering I went to bed at 8am. I had wanted to go into the city to sit in on a group that meets once a month to talk about Master/Slave topics. Today’s topic was on Polyamory (more then one person in a relationship). Getting to the path was uneventful but I got off one station to late and had to cab to a block away from where I was headed. When I got there…I found out that the place I thought the group was meeting had moved!
I called up Gardenia on her cell phone, who was also suppose to be at the group. After walking several blocks with her giving me directions while I walked, I finally found it. It was a 3 hour meeting. The first hour was just social chit chat and letting everyone get there. I attended Flagg and was made a “stacker” (the person who keeps track of the people who want to speak next in the circle). No pressure on the girl who’d never been to the group before or met ANY of the people there except for about 5.
The meeting was good, a little weird but good. As for my participation, no one could quite grasp the fact that I’d chosen this relationship partly to help me work on some of the things I wanted to change about myself. It was pretty much instantly labled as wrong for Daddy not to love me for me. Why did I need to change. But hey whatever. I hear it all the time.
SirC asked if I wanted to go with them to eat but they were heading for Mexican food and to be honest it sounded like they were going pretty far away from any of the path trains. So I bailed and came home. I was in such a good mood today I was just talking to everyone I came across. I spoke to an older woman on the train for a while before she got off at her stop. Then three guys were standing/sitting next to me talking about Korean food and I started talking to them too. It felt really nice to be able to be friendly and cheerful!
Daddy picked me up and we went to see 13ghosts. It was VERY scary and a little gory but the guy who playes Cereal Killer in “Hackers” was in it and he was too funny! It’s worth seeing in my opinion. After the movie we stopped by and saw Tat and now we are back home. I am SO tired….hopefully bed cometh soon! TTFN
