seems it should be when they say it’s for relaxation! I got my butt out of bed this morning to go to yoga. I thought seriously about not going for about 10 mins. Even though I got to bed with enough time for 6 or so hours of sleep…I was so tired. And I so didn’t want to get up. I even asked Daddy if I should skip it or not. He was good an gave me the decision. ๐
I got there and they ran a little over. Even spoke to another woman waiting until the class started. ๐ It was an hour class and most of the lights were off. We did alot of stretching, balancing, and strength moves. Some of it hurt a little because we’d worked out yesterday. Some of it hurt cause it was so damn hard to do because I’m a beginner. I can see where after a while it will cause relaxation, flexibility, and strength. I even think if I continue it may help my headaches. You do alot of relaxation of your spine and neck. Also they encourage you to sit or stand tall and that’s what I really need for the neck pain.
I did keep wondering though how doing it will help you be able to do more next time. They had one where you were suppose to lay on the ground on your stomach, grab your foot and pull your thigh and knee off the ground. Couldn’t do it to save my life…well not with out rolling over. :grins: But I suppose that just like stretching you get better and better at it with practice. I can even see me eventually learning the “routine” and doing it at home now and then. I just gotta pick up some “moody” music. :smiles:
Anyway…I was pretty proud of myself when I was done. I came home and passed out for a few more hours. I SO didn’t want to get up. I don’t know if this is because of the whole stress relief/relaxation thing or not.
I’ve not done well on my eating really. I keep managing to eat more protien and a few more meals but currently I’m still caving each day with too much carbs and/or too much sugar. I’ll get it though. ๐ A little birdie has made my day however!! Yesterday while we were at the gym, not only did we see two really pretty girls, but they were using ab slings. They look so cool. Basically you hang them from a bar, slip your arms in, and use them to do crunches where you bring your legs up to your belly. I asked the girls where they got it and put it in the file for “gotta have one day”. It turns out that someone really cool is going to buy them for me and Tat! Flat tummy here I come!!!
