Workout 1/31 and Karate

Today was interesting. Pretty dull up until we got to karate. Sensei caught me as soon as I came in. Said he’d been waiting for me all night to come in. I told him “I didn’t do it” LOL. Anyway, he pulled me over to his desk and told me that since I kept taking his pens he got me one. It’s a really really nice pen. Very solid and it’s got spider-webbing in metal over the back end of it. Came in a little velvet case and everything. I was really shocked. So now it’s in my backpack and will stay there unless I’m using it.

I helped him work his new camera. He’s really getting good at using it. And I was all psyched when I printed out a few of the pictures he wanted correctly on the sheet. I was so happy that I did a little “Score” motion that he laughed at. But as always…it can’t last. I head down to put on my gi and find…duh dun duh!…my belt is missing. :sigh: So I had to go tell him I forgot my belt (I think it’s the first time in like 9 years). He told me to take one out of the drawer he pointed to. Bascially he let me wear an old kids blue belt from the dawn of time in which all the guys at school made fun of me. It was dull cornflower blue and apparently it matched my eyes. I was told it did enough.  Oh well…live and let live.

I’m going to have to add 30 mins of judo practice time to my daily workouts. It may be the only way I get good enough to make throws on my own that he manages to be there for.
