We’ll be getting out of here in a few hours. My parents are at my aunt’s in PA visiting. They drove all the way there since it’s hard for my mom to get places now without her cart. Sadly, though the elevator on the van for her cart broke when they left so it’s out getting repaired. It’s gonna take us about 6 hours to get there and it will be the first time that my parents have met Tat. 
My aunt and uncle haven’t met either of them.
We’ll end up there around 10pm or so if we get out of here on time. Tat is taking off work early so we don’t have to get in at 2am, which was very sweet of her. No idea what the plans are really. I’m sure we’ll go to dinner. I’ll end up showing my dad some of the karate stuff we know cause he’s a freak for martial arts stuff and I think he’s kinda living that part of his life through me.
We aren’t a typical family so it’ll be interesting. The three of us seem to have the three types of families. Tat’s is very close nit and they all hang out at someone’s house for family get together…the whole clan. Daddy’s family is kinda in the middle. They hang with each other now and then, talk on the phone occasionally, and don’t get TOO involved in family politics and gossip. My family…we don’t really go see each other that much except for holidays and the rare vacation where we need someplace to go that’s not home. If we gossip I’m never in on it (LOL) and getting together usually means going out to eat or sitting around watching movies. Weird…I know.
We’ll be back Sunday night. It means alot to me that Daddy and Tat are taking time off to travel so far to go see my parents. It’s an increadible pain in the ass but they’ve been pretty sweet about helping me arrange to go and coming with me. 
Writing Stuff
So since the last time I blogged about writing stuff it appears my plot has changed. It’s possible I can use pieces of what I origionally thought for other books but now it seems that my hero and heroine are both living people who’ve been thrown into helping a female ghost (or other kind of spiritual entity). They are room mates and have that knawing tension between them but for whatever reason it’s never been the right time to get together. The s.e. is going to help them connect.
This sorta evolved over night while I was waiting to fall asleep. Daddy sent me a post submitted to a news group about a new line of romance books that are seeking submissions. It hadn’t really been my intention to write a supernatural romance but I can write more of a pure urban fantasy later on.
I’m gonna work on it in the car so we’ll see what comes of it.
