Sometimes it’s so hard to know what to write in a post and what not to. I have a tendency to wear my heart on my sleeve and my personal info on my blog. LOL Not always the smartest thing in the world.
Friday, Daddy drove me down to meet with Tat and A for dinner. A lives about an hour and change away from Tat but goes down to New Hope a lot which is fairly close and didn’t mind coming the distance to eat with us and pick me up. It’s the first time I’d seen him in two years and I was a little nervous, especially since Tat and Daddy hadn’t really met him or had the chance to speak with him. A kept telling me to relax and not worry about it. LOL I should have listened because it turned out ok. And the welcome hug was really nice. Tat was a brat and decided to bring her camera so she could take pictures. In the end, she’s my sister and who can say no to her? LOL
We had a good meal and thankfully Tat provided a lot of the conversation. She’s always good at the social butterfly kind of thing. I love her!! LOL Everyone seemed to get along just fine and I had little to no appetite though I did chow down on a few of Daddy’s ribs. I should have ordered them. LOL Soon after that we ended our meal and headed out to go our separate ways.
A opened the passenger door for me and gave me a really pretty bunch of red roses. They came with a big hug. The drive to his place was quiet but I felt really comfortable and I really enjoyed holding hands with him in the truck. When we got to his place he gave me a quick tour and introduced me to his two awesome cats who really seemed to like me. Then we settled onto the couch and got a little more comfortable with each other.
Daddy had wanted me to call him a few times to check in with him, so I did. By the next morning we all decided that they were going to go see the Omen and meet us at the Eagle for MAST’s Bar Night. Besides looking at pictures, enjoying our time together, and taking a walk we mostly just chilled until it was time to head to NYC.
It was nice to see a lot of people I haven’t seen in a while at the Eagle. I was kinda bad and was stuck to A all night and wasn’t as social as I probably should have been. LOL. But according to a few people we were quite the entertainment. Several people asked us what the “relationship” was between us. We didn’t have a good term for it at the time so I just kinda shrugged and said “boy toy?” then laughed. I know everyone must have been so confused with me glued to A and Daddy and Tat milling around the Eagle. All I can say is the biggest thank you to Daddy for letting me have the two evenings with A because they were great! I won’t be shocked to hear that A made a big impression on the NYC scene. Sexy boy with a great ass new to NYC?….sign me up! LOL I have to take a second and thank A again…he hates NYC and he made the trip just to spend a few extra hours with me. *hugs and kisses to him*
I didn’t want to leave A but I was really good and made sure that I told him most of my goodbye in the Eagle before we left. I’m all antsy to see him the next time. He goes two weeks straight without a day off but thankfully IMs and phone will help us stay in contact. I have a new found respect for Daddy and Tat now. LOL I don’t know if I’ll get to see him before TESFest three weeks away but if it is he better watch out cause I’m liable to pounce on him when I see him. LOL
Anyway…it was a really great weekend and I had a wonderful time! Yay for Happy Kimi!
