Dissapointing Day

Well I have to admit, my Thursday didn’t go quite all that well. I mentioned

that one of our Sensei’s is moving to Florida. Well last Thursday we got

together and decided to get him a gift to give to him tonight. I ended up

collecting the money and making the arrangements to get the gift made and here

TODAY. It was a very last minute thing because it was hard to find someone who

could do 3d

lasering and get it here by today like we needed.

Well I got up at 8:30 this morning to park on the couch to make sure I would

hear the door when it came. Around noon, I called the guy who was shipping it to

check on it and found out that an error had been made and it had been shipped

out late Wednesday night marked GROUND…not AIR. :sigh: After much trying and a

lot of frustration we had to come to grips with the fact that it just wasn’t

gonna happen. The good news…it’s coming tomorrow (or it better). We convinced

our Sensei to come back tomorrow night even though tonight was going to be his

last night at the school. And then I had to tell everyone in my class that it

wasn’t gonna be there tonight but tomorrow.

The good news is, we had gone over 80 dollars that we could give to him to

spend on whatever he liked as well as a card signed by everyone. So we gave that

to him this evening and he was very surprised and pleased. I also got thanked by

alot of the guys for taking care of everything. They call told me not to fret,

that things like this happened.

So a few are going to try and stop in tomorrow to see the gift. The other

good side is that the novice class who wasn’t going to get to see it will get to

now. I just feel bad about how it ended up. Live and let live.
