Hey there. I had a great day. Went to philly and got to do some research and thinking about urban fantasy. Had a really good lunch. Ended up sitting in a park instead of the cafe as it was packed. Heard about a great place to visit for atmosphere, Valley Forge Park and I can’t wait to go there. It would be a trip but it sounds so fun!

So I was sitting around tonight doing a little work before I planned to hit the bed and I went over to Talkshoe to see if anything was going on and check my stats cause I do that alot! LOL And I decided to jump in on this guy’s podcast that he does whenever he’s bored. He had a decent amount of listeners and talkers and it occurred to me as I saw he was on Episode 90 that while he might not be making a buttload of cash…he’s got something here. You get a few cents for everyone to participates and everyone who downloads your cast. Everytime you listen I get like 3 cents. LOL It ads but but for TC that’s not why I’m doing it. However…..

I know it’s been a while. I was torn between having a week or so where I was so busy I didn’t have time to write and then a week or so where I wasn’t in the mood to write cause I had the down turn in mood. It seems like it MIGHT be coming back considering I got my ass out of bed today from a nap to do work. Always a good sign. I had the crap scared out of me today. Sadly I can’t explain but it involves money and the lack there of…or so I thought. All’s ok with the world so I can breath again but for a while there suicide looked like a really good option.

So I know I’ve told a few people before…can’t remember if I’ve mentioned it here or not…but sometimes I feel like I have to “pay” for a good day(s) with a few really shitty bad days. I believe it’s on a check list somewhere for depression that if you feel that way…you got it! LOL

Just a quick update to say I had a good time on Thursday when I went with Tat to NYC. I got to see Boot Black Jim and Daddy David, along with Tristen and some other really great people. It was a partly a book signing and I managed to give out a card to a Harper Collins editor in hopes he might want to be on Tale Chasing sometime. We’ll see.

I don’t have much time right now but I went to my first critique group meeting and I am so happy I’m back writing and doing this. It went really well. I went into the city by myself to it. Felt all grown up. Have so much to say and Daddy is encouraging me to make another blog just for my writing in which there might be a pod/video cast.

So…I made just short of 1k dollars this weekend. How you might ask? Friday morning my cell phone rang. I keep the really high priced listing from NF on and it goes to my cell in case anyone calls. I figure it’s an “ignore” line so what do I care if someone calls it or not. So when it rang on Friday morning and I woke up and saw what it was…I’m thinking…6.99 a min…um ok sure I’ll take it. 😛

As you can see from the side bar, I’ve added word meters to show my progress on the projects I’m working on. I currently have 3. Two short stories and 1 novel, all of them urban fantasy or speculative fiction. It’s time to get serious. Time to stop procrastinating on writing by reading billions of writing, agent, editor, and general blogs. As Nike says, “just do it!”
