Just a quick yay me! I had a great night at karate. Sensei busted me as soon as I got in the door cause he had asked me to get something for him last week and I’d forgotten. I went home and got it for him. He gave me crap about going all the way home just for that but whatever. I ended up being able to get him what he needed for PTI and that set me off to a good start. I was just in a good mood period.

Last night Tat was here and we went to see Rent in the afternoon and then I drug her ass dancing to help get her out of the house. We went dancing at a club down the street from me that I’ve heard about for a few months but hadn’t gotten up the interest to go into. It doesn’t looke like the kind of place you could really become a regular at…well considering the town it’s in anyway. But I have to say…this place has a lot of potential.

While watching a taped Supernatural last night ( and god is Jensen so fricken hot it hurts!) I think my story has taken a serious turn. The good news is that I can keep the characters and most of the story but it’s probably made a serious change to Kie’s personality and I’m not sure that’s her name anymore. The fish and Ashe have made themselves known as to how they will follow our couragous heroine in the series and I now have a more plausible way to find plots for future books. It’s no longer a “Smallville” like town where weird shit just happens.

In response to a question Miss Snark answered for me I found this page about Urban Fantasy which is the genre I have decided to write for. For anyone who likes this genre he gives a lot of really great examples of books written for the genre. I haven’t read most of them so I have more to add to my reading list.

This morning…Daddy scored an XBOX 360! This happened right after he also scored an LCD HDTV! And now…I’m in xmas envy (as they were gifts from his Mom for early XMAS). LOL

We know I don’t like Turkey Day. Daddy’s mom told me I should have reminded her that I had Chinese for tday last year and we could have gotten me something I liked this year. I promised to remind her next year. Honestly, I’ve been to stressed to care what I was having for dinner.

I’m off to hang out with some friends from karate at a BestBuy in Bridgewater all night. Originally, Tat and I kicked in and got him a reserved one from Game stop but they over sold and there isn’t any guarantee that they’ll come in until after the first of the year. Who knows if we’ll get one tonight but the connection time with our friend is good and it’ll be one of those “crazy” things we can say we did. 😛

Well I can choose to be annoyed that I didn’t write yesterday or today…or I can be happy that I overcame my soreness and did a decent workout for 45 mins. I think it’s a pretty fair trade.

After I blogged I looked at the edits that my critter suggested. It was enough to prompt me to want more then 50 extra words after fixing things. So my total for tonight was 1285 new words! Who hoo!

After finishing my Prologue and first two chapters yesterday with a total of 5266 words (26 pages) I sent off the file to a few people for critique. Everyone that read it seemed to like it and after incorporating some of their comments I was able to add 579 words today while explaining some things that were confusing in those three chapters.

I had the opportunity to write some more this evening and finished my Prologue and my 2nd Chapter. I went back over the whole thing and read it for flow and it seems to go ok. I’m very happy. So I’m at 5266 words. That means I wrote over 2000 words today. Daddy had me stop and help him several times while I was working but helped me with some plot issues to help make up for some of the lost time.
