On the way and things…

So tomorrow we leave for DragonCon. Just me and Daddy. Tat can’t come and I’m gonna miss her. It will be cool however to have Daddy to myself on vacation. Weird in fact. I imagine we’ll both still go our seperate ways as we both have specific things we want to see. But it will be really odd not to call Tat and see what she’s up to and if she wants to hang.

Need your comments

Ok I’ve already had one person want me to Twitter. I took twitter off my blog cause it was causing problems and many people said they didn’t like the updates on the blog. Should I turn it on just for the DragonCon trip and then off again when I get back? Should I just let you know the RSS feed link for my twitters and you can go add the RSS feed to that if you want to know? Do you want flickr pictures added to the blog? What do you think about audio blog posts? What about video blog posts?

Off

My urge was NOT to write this evening. I’ve felt off all day. Like a big ball of nervous (bad) energy. I went to Power Yoga this morning. I love yoga and I’m usually very good at it. But my head pounded through most of it, I couldn’t stretch like I normally do and I only had a little of the balance I normally have. It was…unhappy. Glad I went but not as cool as I’d have liked it to be.

Be happy through a few small changes

One of the barriers to a happy, effective life is the way that we create negativity in our daily affairs. We swap stories of adversity — the store clerk that was rude to you, the boss that never recognizes your contribution, the accident we saw on our way into work — as a way of passing time, of connecting with each other. We kick ourselves for procrastinating, avoid colleagues we don’t get along with, gossip about ex-friends who screwed us over, and so on.

All blogs in one place

Everyone knows I have a ton of blogs and rss feeds you probably have to sub to if you want to keep up with me. I found a good plugin (that I’m testing) that will post you any entries I post to TaleChasing, Princess Kimi, and my Keen blog. Those are it currently. You are welcome to ask for a feed and I’ll add it (as long as it’s mine) in the comments section.

Need an opinion

So I need your all’s opinion. I’m getting ready to ditch twitter updates to my blog cause as you have seen over the last few weeks twitters not my own have been finding themselves on my page. From japan to now france…it’s crazy. So…I need to know if you like the twitters and want them to stay and therefore I will just edit the page for the ones that aren’t me…or do I ditch it and if you want I’ll just add one more thing to my list of RSS feeds to import into my blog.

ICANHASCHEEZEBURGER Rocks!

So there is this thing call LOLCats! They rock. One site that shows LOLCats is http://icanhascheezburger.com/ which you have to go look at! You have to go look at them all…but….whatever. This picture will make sense as to why it’s funny after you view several LOLCats. Go spend some time laughing. It’s good for you.

Quote from "The Harlequin"

Lately I’ve been finding a lot of really great quotes and pretty profound thoughts in some of the books I’ve been reading. Later I’ll quote a fairly long piece from “White Night” by Jim Butcher. This was in the last book I read, “The Harlequin” by Laurell K Hamilton

Faking it till I make it??

So yesterday I attempted to start my “fake it till I make it” campaign. I believe I had moderate if not good success as I was fairly calm, self-assured, and rational yesterday. I sat down and tried to figure out where the ball started rolling at and I believe it came after I finished the two “hard level” soduku puzzles. As I sit here and write, I realize I may need to start doing them regularly because I feel smart when I can do one.

Brace for the Deep…

So I’ve been reading The Six Pillars of Self Esteem by Nathaniel Brenden. Daddy recommended two of his books in place of Dr. Phil. Nathaniel Brenden was Ayn Rand’s lover so a lot of his views fall within objectivist standards but he still holds enough woo woo that I think I can learn a lot of things from his philosophy and thoughts.

It's been quiet

Sorry its been a while since I updated. Even the twitters are a little behind. Some of you might have seen twitters about taco bell or japanese writing. I have no idea how someone else got on my page but those were not my twitters. 😛

People tell you that if you don’t have anything good to say then don’t say anything at all. I guess I’ve kinda taken that to heart. Sometimes a depressive entry slips out and I end up looking like a victim. I’m so tired of being a self-dedicated victim. Growing up is fucking hard.
