It's been a fricken AWESOME Day…
Actually the whole week has kinda rocked. Even though I spazzed out on Monday over karate it’s not been to bad. But today…today was just fricken great!

High Priced Girl
So…I made just short of 1k dollars this weekend. How you might ask? Friday morning my cell phone rang. I keep the really high priced listing from NF on and it goes to my cell in case anyone calls. I figure it’s an “ignore” line so what do I care if someone calls it or not. So when it rang on Friday morning and I woke up and saw what it was…I’m thinking…6.99 a min…um ok sure I’ll take it. 😛

Getting Serious
As you can see from the side bar, I’ve added word meters to show my progress on the projects I’m working on. I currently have 3. Two short stories and 1 novel, all of them urban fantasy or speculative fiction. It’s time to get serious. Time to stop procrastinating on writing by reading billions of writing, agent, editor, and general blogs. As Nike says, “just do it!”

How many times have you wished there was an easier way to send a picture or text message to a friend’s cell phone number but you don’t really know the right “email address” of their phone. You can send them email from your computer if you know the extension to send it to. I stumbled upon the perfect page for anyone who needs to know the last part of the address. Just find the cell phone company they are with then find them on the list and it will tell you what you need to know. Check the link below.

Circumstances being what they are I’m much more aware of the problems that I COULD be facing should my life be different. With that being said I am very thankful that I have a home, family, friends, food, money, and ways to keep myself entertained and occupied.

It’s funny to me how the net has changed communication. Use to be…you only ever dated someone if they were in your own town. Or how you only ever used paper to send love notes. Or how you only used the phone to call and see if you were still getting together to head to the club.

Life is hard sometimes….
I had to do one of the hardest things I have ever done in my life tonight. I had to tell someone that I care about that we couldn’t work on being anything to each other if they couldn’t work on getting their life together first. All other issues between us aside….what matters most to me is their survival. If it didn’t matter to me I wouldn’t have put so much time and energy into trying to get past my own issues and help them with theirs.
