I love my sister….

As you can see I have a beautiful new header! (those of you who are friended or rssing me need to click here and come look!) Kabuki is my favorite comic done by David Mack. I’ve met him several times at DragonCon. My favorite character from Kabuki is Scarab who you can see at the top! 🙂 I love her strength, her back story, the mask she wears and her outfit. I love everything about her. Tat helped me design her with the shadow behind her which I thought was pretty fitting. My only problem was coming up with a cute and catchy saying under my title that fit. Anyone who has some ideas…feel free.

Still alive

Wanted to check in real quick and let you all know I was still alive. I haven’t been doing much to check in with society in any regard. I haven’t really been playing WoW or writing here. Haven’t written on my book or kept up with friend’s blogs and IM’s. I’ve basically been sleeping, going to karate, trying to work out, dealing with anxiety and headaches, and repeating the process.

Quick howdy

Sorry I haven’t written much lately. It’s been one of those cycles where not much new is happening. I’m working, I’m taking karate, I’m playing my game, I’m sleeping, reading American Gods, etc. The only thing of note that’s been happening are my headaches started again. Sensei let me see a book he had that mentioned a bunch of types of headaches I didn’t know anything about and some of the things you can take (vita men and natural things) to help them. I’m kinda researching that.

It’s almost my bday and it’s been a few days since I wrote to tell you I’m alive. Not much going on. I stayed home tonight to workout and play COV. Daddy went down to see Tat who’ll be coming back from Long Island after a long day there.

Keep update about my Flickr…

I wrote a few days ago about Wholinkstome.com and honestly wasn’t very nice in my post. I wanted to say that it was my bad that the site didn’t work the way it was set to since my browser is set the way it is. I can say now that Shanti has been really nice about answering my questions on my blog and in IMS and I appreicated it.

Way to work on a book

After finishing my Prologue and first two chapters yesterday with a total of 5266 words (26 pages) I sent off the file to a few people for critique. Everyone that read it seemed to like it and after incorporating some of their comments I was able to add 579 words today while explaining some things that were confusing in those three chapters.

Yeah! More words

I had the opportunity to write some more this evening and finished my Prologue and my 2nd Chapter. I went back over the whole thing and read it for flow and it seems to go ok. I’m very happy. So I’m at 5266 words. That means I wrote over 2000 words today. Daddy had me stop and help him several times while I was working but helped me with some plot issues to help make up for some of the lost time.
