Well the Tournament was a success. (No I didn’t fight it was just for kids). Daddy and I both went. He didn’t really get to go into the black belt meeting but this was a very disorganized event and small anyway. We had 17 kids that went and I think about 13 of them won trophies. Sadly a few of them didn’t have to do much to get them.

Two of the girl teenagers that I talked into going ended up having to fight one of the judges (a black belt) because there was only 3 girls total and all three of them were in seperate belt divisions. They gave them all first place because of it. Personally I think they should have gone 1st-3rd place based on how they fought. One of our girls totally kicked his butt. Well as much as a blue belt can kick a black belt’s butt. She was just very energetic and totally didn’t stop, even though they had to fight him for 3 minutes which they have never done.

All of the others did really well. Daddy and I skated into the tournament for free. There was a long line of black belts who were there to judge and well…we just kinda followed them in. Shhhh..don’t tell. 🙂
