Hey Gang!<\/p>\n

Tat and I have been friends with a lot of you for a quite a while now. We care about when you are sick or down or thrilled about something cool. We like to be there for you as much as you like to be here for us.<\/p>\n

So in that vein I am posting a note from our very own KB (Kewlbrew). Please take a second and read his note. It means alot to us and I know it means alot to him. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

“Hi all!  <\/span>In the past, the faithful fans of Girl2 have come out to assist Kimi and Tats with webvotes, link clicking and so forth.  <\/span>The girls have graciously allowed me you use their forum to call on G2 fans for a webvote of my own.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

As some of you may know, I have a soft spot for a particular SF area band.  <\/span>The Hard Rock Cafe is sponsoring a Battle of the Bands<\/a><\/span><\/font> contest<\/a>.  <\/span>The ten regional winners have been selected and my local fav will be representing SF.  <\/span>I’d like to see my fav (Finding Stella<\/a><\/font>) advance.  <\/span>The top three vote getters will move to the final phase – selection of a winner by an music industry panel.  <\/span>So here’s what I’d like you all to do.  <\/span>I’d like you go to the website and vote (preferably for Finding Stella).  <\/span>Also, tell your friends, family members, co-workers, and any complete strangers you can find to go vote as well (again preferably for Finding Stella).  <\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

There will be sound bites for all of the bands.  <\/span>If you think my fav isn’t worthy – don’t vote for them.  <\/span>However, if you do vote for them and you do like them, there is one other little thing I’d like you (and any other indirect G2 voters) to do.  <\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

The lead singer jokingly told me that all their new fans seemed to be six degrees removed from me.  <\/span>So .. the last thing I’d like you to do is send them a new fan email<\/a>.   <\/span>Let them know that you liked their music and voted for them.  <\/span>Also tell them you’re ‘six degrees from Kewlbrew’.  <\/span>\ud83d\ude00  <\/span>The intent of this contest is to give these local bands exposure to a larger audience.  <\/span>I’ll say this again – if you really don’t like my fav, don’t vote for them.  <\/span>Kimi and Tats – Thanks for the use of the soapbox. <\/span><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n
