The hierarchy in our house is an interesting one. Though both Tat and I are owned by Daddy…there is always an air of alpha-ness about her. I’ve felt it from her from the moment I met her. Since she is a switch, this works for her. 🙂 And it works for me because it means that I have two people instead of just one that enjoy playing with me.

Unfortunately, with the good…has to come the bad. Meaning that while Daddy’s orders supersede anything Tat would ask me to do…she does have some authority over me. Despite the fact that I am older in years then her, she does have an amount of experience that makes her my big sister.

I refer to this because over the weekend I didn’t think and made a mistake that I know is important to her. Unexpectedly, though not unhappily, she decided to give me an order to make up for my mistake and to help me remember not to do it again. I am suppose to refer to her as onei-san (big sister in a formal way) for a week. I’m allowed to use Tat as well but I think that doing that wouldn’t help me as much.

It’s difficult to call her that for a number of reasons.

Anyway, I thought I would share this interaction with you to give you a little more insight to how our family works. 🙂 It’s likely that I’ll keep the title though change it to onei-chan (meaning big sister in an affectionate/familiar way) if she doesn’t mind. I like calling her Tat but I do have a fetish for Japanese kanji and romanji. So it suits me just fine. 🙂

Btw…I looked up a few other words that might be used in the future for your reference.
