Ok…well after having just spent 45 mins on the phone trying to explain my plot to my Mom…my throat hurts and I have a headache. LOL I also think my mom’s a bit confused though gets the general gist of it. While it solitifies my belief in my grasp of my plot…it scares the hell out of me how much of a pretzel it’s in and my worry that I’ll actually be able to unwind the torrid mess enough for the reader to understand. Here’s to never doing anything the easy way.
Add this to the list of things I started the hard way. I wanted to cross stitch…the first one I ever did had 68 colors. I wanted to garden. The first one I ever did had to be weeded, hoed, fertalized, designed, planted, and tended. Sshees… I wanted to write a book…it had to have 1 big plot and about 4 subplots. :shaking head:
After having told her most of it here’s what I have to figure out and you all are welcome to throw out ideas:
- What happens to make the villian decide he has to step up his takeover of the house?
- What’s so important about the damn house anyway! (lol…seriously…i kinda know)
I’m starting to fade and I’m wondering how much I’ll actually get written tonight. Since I’ve been home I’ve been doing research, linking my blog, and checking out other writer’s blogs. Daddy left some homework to do but I have all day tomorrow and a bit of Sunday before I have to head down to Tat’s to work on it.
I don’t think today was a total writing loss because I think I solved alot of some of the plot ties. So…goody for me, but boo for NaNo. ๐ It was nice to talk to my mom about my writing. I got a good ego boost from her telling me that my style and writing has vastly improved since high school. She reminded me that we use to go over my work and she’d correct my sentence structure. Lol. That’s why all you I help critique get nothing but “run on” or “fragment” from me. heh!
Talk at you later! More tomorrow
